Responsibility

Instead of following a workshop ‘grounding’, you can also listen to the police.
Two days in a row I had a lesson in responsibility, the first cost no money but a lot of loss of energy due to emotions, and the second cost money and loss of energy but luckily also an immediate insight that allowed me to recharge.
The first was that I did not take responsibility for our dog’s behavior, put him in a dangerous situation and therefore caused dogs and their owners (I prefer to say caregivers) including myself; anger, sadness and hassle, fortunately a vet was not necessary so no money loss.
The second was that I was stopped by the police. They asked me very kindly if I had just gotten my driver’s license (????) and if they knew why I had been stopped, no, I have my driver’s licence for a while, I had just come from a relaxing beauty treatment and that had worked well probably. I did not have any idea why they have stopped me. ‘Senhora Dona Claudia, you failed to stop at the stop sign’. They told me very calmly five times how important it is to stop at a stop sign and how serious a crime that is. When you spend time in the car you have to take responsibility.
Well these two days cost €120 and a lot of energy. I hope I learned from it. Responsibility is a big thing. Doing easy, being easy differs to the effort of easyness.

Personal & Self development

Both personal development and self development deal with growth or expansion. They are two different approaches to life. Personal development takes a horizontal viewpoint, self development takes a vertical viewpoint. With the first, you are looking at the horizon and with the second, at the stars. The two complement each other. They should not be confused.

When you come to our retreats you can make a breach for a change to come into life.

So yes, I do things different and the other way around.

Seeing from a different perspective, wearing my jumper the other way around, never on purpose, just without awareness. Learning the difference in left and right; I did not realize I was goofy before intense practice of Yoga asanas.
From feeling an old person in a young body, now I am growing younger in an older body.
Meditation, silent walks, yoga, horses, doggies, outdoor lifestyle, delicious freshly prepared food and Ayahuasca.

Mind full vs empty mind

Strong and Intelligent minds are willing to give the heart a chance.
Protecting and closing the heart from worldly action at the front and widening the back to be able to carry our own weight. Yoga is about taking the senses inward and the yamas and niyamas. The yamas are about behaviors that are motivated by grasping, aversion, hatred, and delusion. The niyamas are about create well-being for ourselves and others.
It is not easy to take the risk for change. Big little steps forward are set during a detox week. Cleansing and change happen. Practicing together makes it easier.
